The fear of confinement

Feedings of boredom or being confined and restricted in any way creates an anxious restlessness inside us who bear this unconscious fear. Our restlessness becomes so great that it stirs up a need to disrupt the status quo by deliberately looking for intellectual and emotional novelty. Stimulation and excitement help to distract from a pain we deny or a muteness inside our hearts that feels like stagnation.
The harder our human side strives to run away from the feeling of stasis the more stuck we feel.
To compensate, a natural urge develops to explore and enthusiastically engage with adventure, whether it is a new study or new quest. Our behaviour can seem reckless to others at times.
Our spirt seem to be programmed to discover unexplored territory, emotional experiences or to break conventional boundaries in any area of life we are drawn to through study or experimentation. Our visionary ability can inspire or disrupt.
It is as if the fear in us at any period of our lives are urging us to uncover the revelation it holds about our spiritual nature. Any fear is usually a feature of our human nature but carries the seed of our spiritual genius that needs to awake.
The inner human part that needs love and acceptance from your higher self is the one who felt deprived of stimulation and soothing when young. These two needs seem opposite, but they are both needed and we suffer a kind of emotional ache if we do not receive both in childhood. We may compensate for this emotional need by constantly seeking stimulation. Our human condition urges a trigger in us to awakening to our Divine Self and its gifts through suffering a fear, instead of circling around in desperate attempts to calm our fear.
The energetic portal to opening the channel to our Devine essence, already dormant inside our soul, is the ‘third eye’; the 6th chakra at the point just slightly above the centre between your physical eyes. Tap on this point and breathe deeply, declaring your willingness for your Divine Self to guide your visions. In practicing this connection, you start to accept silence as a joy and synchronicities becomes the stimulus for inspiration. You no longer force adventure from human will and do no longer feel an unbearable restlessness or need to be shocked to feel alive. Outmoded systems are revealed like lightning strikes, where you can contribute new insight and guidance as you move in flow. You know now who you are and accept the fear in you as a mystical indicator to direct your spiritual integration. The purpose our fears is to have us live alongside our shadow with spiritual ‘awareness’ that teaches us to love and accept all the parts of us that has been neglected or repressed by ignorant parenting or conventional conditioning.
